Named after a song of the post-punk-industrial legend Killing Joke, the music documentary accompanies this unprecedented band on its turbulent journey through three decades. At the start of the 80`s their apocalyptic sound was shaped by the cold war and the fear of the big bang. Again and again, Killing Joke provocatively processed topical political issues. Also occultism and mysticism shape the history of the band, around frontman Jaz Coleman. Characterized by internal battles, quarrels and reunions and the continual search for new challenges, Killing Joke has lost none of its intoxicating energy and its archaic sound.
