The HEIMSPIEL is emerging from childhood! In its ninth year, we present five films which have a regional connection and yet come from all over the world. Acting, directing, film music: participants in numerous film trades come from this region. We will listen to the composition by Vanessa Donelly and watch Cino Djavid swap the stage of the State Theatre for the silver screen. The directing is also regional: Detlef Bothe - internationally known as a Bond villain - and Tom Bewilogua from Braunschweig, and Sven Molke from Celle. Comedy and drama, musical and thriller or relationship drama - the Braunschweig region demonstrates its diversity!
