The European Acting Award

The film festival has been honoring actresses and actors for their longstanding outstanding performances and their contributions to European film culture with the award DIE EUROPA, which has been presented since 2007.

The award is accompanied by prize money of 25,000 euros, donated by the film festival's main sponsor, Volkswagen Financial Services.
