A team from the Nordic Food Lab from Copenhagen sets off on a journey to places where around two billion people already consume, at least partly, insects. The liberal-minded and humorous threesome first of all ask the inhabitants on site about their eating habits and local culinary insect preferences in order, in the next step, to go and search for these rare delicacies and bravely try out everything, breed insects, with their background as trained cooks to think up imaginative recipes and go to conferences on this subject. In so doing, serious questions emerge: what contribution can insects make to the world`s food supplies? And in what quality?
