ECHT (Queer Film Award)
With the queer film award ECHT, the BIFF honours lesbian, bisexual, gay, trans*, inter and queer filmmaking. The jury prize is endowed with 2,500 euros and is donated by VSE e.V., financed with funds from the Queer Network Lower Saxony (QNN).
