Christmas - the festival of love. In KING`S SHIFT, it is the festival of war criminals, bored policemen, arrogant security officers and adventurous nurses. Ignas Miskinis carefully leads the audience into the dimension of timelessness. The conflicts which are dealt with here are some of the greatest that the human race has: but this does not happen with a wagging finger. Those who so wish can be pointed in the right direction. How much is a human life worth, what is an order? The protaganist has already made his decision and yet does not look like he has. He is guarding an alleged war criminal from World War 2 in a hospital. Is this man worth being protected?
