The shy Vincent leads a tranquil life in a small French town: it is true that he no longer lives with his mother but only one storey higher, and he has inherited his hairdressing salon from his father. Coincidence leads him to the grocery shop of the mysterious Rosalie whom he cannot get out of his head from then onwards. He begins to spy on her until she notices him. Gradually the jigsaw puzzle pieces of this feelgood comedy with its many surprising twists and the nostalgic charm of the film AMÉLIE begin to fit together
