The short film is a genre, which enables creative experiments and provocations. It also encourages a playful handling of stylistic elements. Often, short films are an introduction to film making for young actors and directors. With SHORT MATTERS!, the European Film Academy (EFA) presents the best European shorts. This year, the program includes 15 awarded short films of 2015, which are shown in three blocks of programming. The presented movies were automatically nominated for the European Film Awards as best short film.
