After the suicide of his father-in-law, vet Jan falls into a crisis as mother-in-law and dominant wife Olga totally ignore the will of the diseased. As he fears he will be similarly ignored by Olga, he starts to simulate dementia. Unfortunately Olga takes it seriously and has him admitted to a clinic. Having fled from the clinic, Jan makes his way on a long journey through the Czech Republic with his guard dog and supported by his son and son-in-law. ” Women marry tigers and transform them into rabbits which are no longer allowed to play the tiger outside” is how main actor Jiri Bartoska comments his role. Radek Bajgar`s quirky comedy was the cinema hit in spring 2016 in the Czech Republic.
