Two generations from two cultures meet each other and share the same living space. While Oma Rola struggles with her past, Kenny is preoccupied with his present situation. For Kenny two conflicting circumstances develop, which bring Rola and him closer together. A story about two people, who appear neither stereotyped nor overstated, but rather, due to the powerful lighting and camera work, explores contemporary sensitive issues. This film combines generational differences, inter-culturality and trilingualism within a beautiful setting of daily life.
