Hannover Airport is your direct link to international destinations.You can also easily travel to Braunschweig by public transport with regular train connections. The tram line S5 takes you from the airport to Hannover’s main railway station, from which an ICE to Braunschweig departs every hour. Also the Berlin airports are only 1 and a half hour away per train.

Via Car

Brunswick is located at the A2 between Hanover and Magdeburg. The Westtangente A391 , the connector between A39 and A2, Brunswick city center can be reached easily within a few minutes. The A39 runs via Braunschweig from Wolfsburg to Salzgitter to connect to A7.

Via Train

Braunschweig is connected to the fast IC (InterCity)/ICE (InterCityExpress) and EC (EuroCity) railway networks of Deutsche Bahn, the German railway company. It only takes 1 hour and 20 minutes to reach Berlin and only 2 hours to reach Hamburg. Hanover is only one hour away.
