The name Piet Oudolf, Dutch garden designer and landscape architect, famous for projects such as the New York High Line - designed in collaboration with Diller Scofidio + Renfro - stands for a new garden art. „Plants are like characters, I stage them, and I compose with them”, this is how Oudolf describes his artistic approach. Director's Biography:Thomas Piper is an award-winning filmmaker primarily focused on making documentaries about contemporary art and architecture. As the director of the Checkerboard Film Foundation he is responsible for direction, camera and film editing.
