”My film is a testimony to the most exciting part of Berlin at the moment - and at the same time a testimony to an area, which will soon drive out its artists, who can no longer afford the rents,” says Rosa von Praunheim. The focus is on Stefan Stricker, who calls himself Juwelia and who has run a gallery in Neukölln for many years. Von Praunheim shows us Juwelia`s parties, accompanies the artist to New York for her first exhibition and to her mother`s grave. As well as Juwelia, we meet the Cuban singer and dancer, Joaquin, who lives with his husband and the Syrian singer, Enana, who after escaping to Berlin hopes to live a freer life, as a woman and a lesbian.
