In A DOG CALLED MONEY the singer P. J. Harvey and the award-winning photographer Seamus Murphy take us along for their creative process. The film shows the musician on her search for inspiration in Afghanistan, Kosovo and Washington right up to the public recording of her studio album "The Hope Six Demolition Project" at Somerset House in London. At it, they meet people that let them be part of their lives for a moment. Harvey collects music and words for her album and Murphy takes pictures. As well as the artist that is P. J. Harvey, this movie is also a total work of art and much more than ‘just’ a music documentary. Intimate, poetic and wonderful.

Director's Biography:Seamus Murphy is photographer, filmmaker and author. Seven times already he received the “World Press Photo Award” for his works in Afghanistan, Gaza, Lebanon, Sierra Leone, Peru and Ireland. His works are published and exhibited worldwide.
