October 2018, France. The Macron government decrees a tax increase on fuel prices. A wave of protests sweeps the country: the beginning of the Yellow Vests protests. In Chartres, a suburb of Paris, citizens meet every day, among them Agnès, Benoît, Nathalie and Allan. Who are these angry people, what are their motives? The director spent six months with them and shows how they take their cause into their own hands, organise themselves and make themselves heard. A film that observes in detail: the protest methods, the goals and the inner contradictions of the Yellow Vests movement. It does not judge, it leaves questions unanswered and plenty of room for discussion.

Director's Biography:After studying history, Emmanuel Gras, born in Cannes, attended the Louis Lumière film school, worked for a while for other directors, and then made his own films. Focus: socially relevant social issues.
