Dante, the Great, a brilliant magician, tragically dies by accident during a risky trick. 35 years later his son Lorenzo, following in his father's footsteps by becoming an illusionist as well, is hosting a magic show. During that show a sudden series of murders strikes and Lorenzo is soon under suspicion, which has him questioning himself and his sanity. ABRAKADABRA is a colourful homage to the italian Giallo genre of the 60s and 70s. In a fashionable way and entirely in the sense of their great icons, the movie comes up with a big scenery, strong visual communication, perfectly imitated camera aesthetics and an almost original score.

Before the movie starts: Short introduction to the Neo Giallo film

Director's Biography:The Argentinian brothers Luciano und Nicolás Onetti are avowed fans of the genre and with FRANCESCA and SONNO PROFONDO they already produced two Giallo tributes. ABRAKADABRA is the brothers fourth work as directors.
