Jan Verbeek is the star of Antwerp`s CID. He solves his cases using unconventional methods, charisma and toughness. Now he would like to get into Parliament for a right-wing populist party. Shortly before he leaves his job for good, he gets a tip which can give him the biggest catch of his career. However, he has to go to Charleroi, to ”enemy” territory, Wallonia. And from there onwards, everything goes wrong. BLIND SPOT is Nabi Ben Yadir`s third feature film and, as in his previous films, deals with the successful or failed integration of Muslim immigrants. Above all, however, BLIND SPOT is a flawless and first-class thriller, exciting, tough, but also with loads of humanity.
