The film shows the activists` group ACT UP in Paris in the 90s fighting for anti-AIDS-research, enlightenment and support. ACT UP consists of affected persons and sympathisers who rebel actively against unscrupulous pharmaceutical companies, against the French government which ignores their problems and against the public exclusion of HIV-infected people. Right in the middle: Sean and Nathan.
