The Braunschweig Clipperboard is an annual film competition for school students from Braunschweig, Hildesheim, Peine, Salzgitter and Wolfenbüttel and is organised by the advisers for media education in the city of Braunschweig (Kerstin Rauf) and in the rural district of Peine (Nicol Natascha Septinus). The concept behind the project is that: both younger and older students, those from academic secondary schools and special schools stand next to each other on the stage and are officially recognised for their ideas and commitment. It is always a big thrill for the young filmakers when they see their films on the big screen.
