Again this year, the Braunschweig Film Festival is dedicating a film programme to the little ones among festival fans. Three wonderful children`s and youth films will be screened during the festival. BLANKA takes us out on the streets of Manila and teaches us that friendship can overcome more hurdles than tricks. THILDA & THE BEST BAND OF THE WORLD take the audience on a musical road trip through Norway to the long-awaited performance at a rock contest. In the wonderfully drawn animated film ERNEST & CELESTINE, big bear Ernest and little mouse Celestine take a closer look at prejudices. Are bears really that greedy and eat mice? And are mice really that persistent and steal from bears? Three enchanting films for the whole family. Also the BIFFI-TAPES are part of the Festival again. This year from both Brunswick and throughout Lower Saxony - a carefully compiled programme of school student projects from the educational film landscape of Lower Saxony will be shown. The BRAUNSCHWEIGER FILMKLAPPE will also be awarded again at the 32nd BIFF - the best student short films from Braunschweig and the surrounding area will be screened and awarded prizes.
