In 2018 the HOMEMATCH short films are once again a very diverse mix of regional film. First of all, we have a festival must: Jarecki`s current film TIMING. SOUR MILK was produced by Anna Bliner who started of at BIFF in 2012 as a KINEMA- juror and Gerbaulet`s SLEEPER already took part in BERLINALE earlier this year. And of course we have a lot of Braunschweig present. GIB GUMMI`S protagonist seemingly runs past every building in Braunschweig and EL LECTOR could be sitting next to each of us every morning. Together with the film social projects 100 JAHRE KRIEGSKIND and the social experiment ZU GAST IN ANDEREN KÜCHEN as well as the docu BEER IN BRUNSWICK it is definitely a piece of home.
