Hazal is 17 and lives in Berlin-Wedding. Despite countless applications, she is unable to secure an apprenticeship. All that remains is to help out in her family’s bakery. Director's Biography:Aslı Özarslan, born 1986 in Berlin, studied theatre and media (University of Bayreuth) as well as philosophy and sociology (Université Sorbonne IV, Paris), followed by a degree in documentary film directing (Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg). Her films have won international and national awards.
