You can't choose your family. However, within the family there is usually a strong, sometimes invisible, cohesion. Especially when negative influences from outside try to penetrate this family bond, it comes to light.

The films deal with different kinds of family support, for example to overcome our fear of the dark or fear of riding a bike. But also the helplessness when we want something better for our children. If we are helpless because no miracles can happen in the family either, that is part of this programme.
