For over 20 years, it has been the tradition at the Brunswick Film Festival to present a selection of the films and videos made by Prof. Michael Brynntrup`s film class at the Brunswick Academy of Fine Arts (HBK). During one year of study the film class produced circa thirty to forty, mainly short films. The programme presented here shows a selection which includes all the formal and content-related aspects of the current works. As well as personal documentary and performance films, the spectrum also includes video poems, computer-generated `visuals` and of course `classical` experimental films, most of which are developed on analogue film material.
