5,800 years ago the caveman Kelab lived with his tribe in the Ötztal Alps. One day, when Kelab returns from hunting, he finds his village destroyed. His family and the entire tribe has been killed and the holy shrine of Tineka has been stolen. Filled with pain and anger, he thirsts for revenge in search of those who killed his loved ones, mercilessly pitched against the forces of nature. Starting from the Ötzi mummy and the location where it was found, director Felix Randau tells the fictional story of this man`s life. Nature`s force and the mortality of early mankind are exposed in strong pictures. In the original German version, the characters speak in early Rhaetian.
