Dear readers, in its 12th year the LEO competition is still going strong as it is getting more and more popular among short-filmmakers. Be part of the thrill of who gets to take this years prize of 2,000 Euro home, which will be divided evenly between director and sound designer/ composer and awarded by our LEO jury members (that we introduce to you overleaf). Out of 1400 short films that have reached us this year, we have selected 20 films from 11 countries, ranging from films that tell a story, fictional or documentary, to experimental films. Whether animated, real or surreal, a colourful mix of cinematic treats awaits you! On the following pages you can find a more detailed description of each of those 20 films. We wish all participants good luck and all viewers of course a pleasant and entertaining program.
