The Palestinian director, Suleiman, travels to Paris and New York. As a silent and astonished observer, he shows us the absurd world that seems to be increasingly developing into a surveillance state, in which things are becoming more and more egoistic, where everything revolves around personal sensitivities. Why do tanks suddenly roll through a deserted Paris and jet fighters race through the sky with deafening noise? Suleiman replies that the world has become like a "microcosm of Palestine". The GUARDIAN pays homage to the film as "stylishly made with a distinctive signature". In Cannes it received special mention by the jury and was nominated by Palestine to qualify for Best International Film at the Oscars for 2020.

Director's Biography:Born 1960 in Nazareth. For eleven years he lived in New York, where he shot two short films. In Jerusalem he became lecturer at the Palestine University Bir Zait. His films stand in the tradition of Jacques Tati, Jim Jarmusch und Buster Keaton.
