An Arctic Western at the Finnish-Swedish border: the son of policeman Lasse is released from prison. He begins to terrorize his father, his brother and their surroundings. The reason for this is the revealing of a family secret, which not only creates a deep gap between father and son, but also makes them nemesises. Lasse has to face his past and admit his responsibility for his sons. The situation is getting out of control. Jussi Hiltunen picturesquely portrays Lappland as a lonely ice desert without law and order, where broken men lose themselves in their self-justice.
