The setting is placed in a small town in the North of Russia which turns out to be a nightmare of corruption and squalidness: the crooked local mayor uses his power against a simple mechanic as he wants to buy his parental house off him at a dumping price. The latter is no pushover but the mayor sets about destroying the mechanic’s life.
