Paris, at the start of the 90s. The 18-year-old Lina has just come from the Lebanon to study here. Left to her own devices, she flings herself into a new, exciting life and struggles through with uni, the immigration office and various part-time jobs. In so doing, she encounters quite different worlds via her friendships and love affair. It takes several learning years of freedom and feelings before she become a ”real Parisian”. A coherent and atmospheric period portrait which is conveyed by the music (Siouxsie and the Banshees, Frank Black) and the dynamic young principal actor. Supported by the region of Normandy.
