In 2014, shortly before their 20 year anniversary, stars of the alternative rock scene go back on tour in Russia. They play concerts to rave reviews in ten cities, travel from Siberia to the Baltic Sea, by car, by plane and on the Transiberian Railway. What`s more, the Placebo base player Stefan Olsdal arranges a meeting in every city with artists such as a photographer, an architect or a duo of street artists and with the dissident performance artist Pjotr Pawlenski in Moscow. The documentary brilliantly captures the terrific atmosphere of the concerts. Together with the fascinating glimpses into the alternative art scene in Russia, the tour and the film turn into something quite special.
