In the end we received about 570 submissions ... the databases started to fill up quickly from April onwards. The online tool for sorting through entries ...everything is new. It will take a while for the whole thing to get moving. The incoming films will all be reviewed at least once, roughly categorized according to content/style and evaluated. The condition is that the film does not last longer than 15 minutes and is available with English subtitles. During the sorting process, the first programme ideas emerge, which gradually consolidate and solidify. This selection of more than 100 short films, put together in 12 programme blocks, results in a great festival of its own. Here the directors, most of them still young, present their (first) films, experiment with the challenge of making a short, concise film statement and facing an audience. Let's be curious ...
