The film shows a multi-faceted and intimate portrait of Sookee, a queer-feminist rapper and a left-wing activist who has been fighting for years against sexism, homophobia and racism in German hip-hop and not only by means of her music. ”Feminism is simply my wind in my political back”, Sookee says. Whether making up behind stage or rapping on stage, in front of a school class, in a philosophy lecture, at a lesbian wedding, with her mother in the kitchen or texting in the park – her life and thoughts are one with her texts and political concerns: tolerance and love instead of exclusion and pigeonholes.
