After 10 years of living with his grandmother in Vietnam, Kien (17) returns to his parents in Cheb, where they run a stall at the large black market. His bright red hair alone makes him an outsider, and he finds it difficult to settle in. His father is distant, his mother tired and his little brother Tai challenges Kien whenever he can. With great sensitivity, Duong accompanies the individual family members in order for us to become acquainted with the story and the life of the large Vietnamese community from different perspectives. With humour and stunning images, the film recounts the story of the Vietnamese-Czech family who have to find their path between two worlds. 

Director's Biography:Dužan Duong (born 1991 in Hanoi) has lived in the Czech Republic since he was 4 years old. As a self-taught filmmaker, he has made short films that have won numerous awards.
