For more than four years the Kenyan small farmer Kisilu has observed and filmed the effects of more and more extreme weather on his village and his family. Droughts have become more frequent and longer and when it rains, then it pours torrentially. The conditions are forcing many farmers to give up their farms and seek work in the towns. Kisilu does not want to give up and leave his farm: he is looking for alternatives. Director Julia Dahr has given Kisilu a lot of room for his own impressions. At the end of 2015, Kisilu and his film team visit the climate conference in Paris at the invitation of an NGO - a cultural shock and a sobering experience for the man who wants to help his village.
