Sara (25) is about to perform her first concert and make her breakthrough as a jazz pianist in New York. Following the sudden death of her father in an accident, she returns to her home village in the northern Spanish Pyrenees. She and her sister Elena (27) have inherited their father’s sheep farm; their grandfather in a retirement home is still unaware of the loss of his son. Shaken by grief, love for her grandfather, a guilty conscience over her long absence and pressure from her manager in New York, Sara has to find the best way forward for herself. THE REMNANTS OF YOU is a very honest film with a great soundtrack and was awarded the prize for Best Cinematography in Alicante – for good reason.

Director's Biography:Gala Gracia, born 1988 in Valdepeñas, studied visual communication in Madrid. She then completed a master’s degree in directing and screenwriting at Kingston University in London. Her short films have won numerous awards, and her additional activities include working as a casting director.
