Back in the times of the German Democratic Republic, Walter was the director of a factory whose ruins, almost a decade after the German reunification, crumble outside the city. To give his life a “meaning” again, he wanders through Berlin at night in order to restore “order.” He is accompanied by two teenagers, who respectfully look up to him. If the three of them see someone who annoys other people, they let their fists do the talking. Walter’s wife is worried about how he claims to be an indispensable part of social order. But one night he goes too far... A film about outcasts of society, still up to date after twenty years.

Director's Biography:Born in East Berlin in 1962. Prop assistent at the national East German film studio DEFA, then studied directing at the Konrad Wolf Film University of Babelsberg. Freelance author and director since 1989, mainly TV productions. Four time Grimme television award winner.
