Yella is restarting her life, on the other side of the Elbe, in the West where there must be work and a future. She leaves behind a failed marriage and the bankruptcy of her husband Ben. She gets to know Philipp who works for a private equity firm. As his assistant, she proves herself in the short-lived world of venture capital. Philipp has a concrete dream which could become hers as well. Indiscernably, love creeps into their complicity. However, something tugs her back to the place that she has left, bygone images, voices, noises crowd into her new life. Yella is frightened that it is all a dream - and that this dream will be over if she closes her eyes.
