26-year-old Chris spends his time on Guadeloupe (a French island in the Antilles) doing small drug deals and having fleeting affairs. On the day of a risky delivery, Chris finds a baby named Zion on his doorstep. This marks the beginning of a fast-paced chase that will confront him with a crucial choice. ZION is an exciting portrait of the people of Guadeloupe that has nothing to do with postcard romanticism – despite its poetic imagery and Creole music. This unusual coming-of-age story was filmed in Creole and French and is full of allusions to the political and social problems affecting the island.

Director's Biography:Nelson Foix, born in 1993, grew up between the island of Guadeloupe and a Parisian suburb, where he graduated as an audiovisual technician. His second, medium-length film was nominated for the French Césars and has won many awards worldwide.
