How city life flows and how individual protagonists emerge to be heroes or antiheroes is told by the short movie program Geisterfahrer-Effekte (Wrong Way Driver-Effects). A lot of momentum is generated through the relationships and conversational topics of the actors: An old woman is having a conversation with a reaper. A prostitute and a street vendor compete for the same spot. Interesting conversational topics are provided by a nearby military training area and the new guy at a butchery who is not likeable at all. The city’s night scenes are picked up for detailed studies. A step towards foresighted utopias with surveillance chips.
