TICKET PRICES

Please note:
1. For all events—except the opening film concert and the awards
ceremony—seating is first-come, first-served.

2. For sold-out events, if there are still seats available in the auditorium 5 minutes after the start of the performance, late admission may be permitted. Tickets for these are available at the official advance ticket outlets. There is no guarantee of admission, and no reservations or waiting lists are available.

3. Upon presentation of a disability ID card marked with the letter “B,” people with severe disabilities receive a free ticket for one companion in all price categories.
Wheelchair users receive free admission for one companion at accessible venues. Please contact us in advance at ticketing@filmfest-braunschweig.de

1) The following are eligible for a discount: Braunschweig Pass holders, students, high school students, FSJ participants, retirees, and IG Metall members, upon presentation of valid identification.

2) Transferable. Valid for all events up to € 11.

3) Discounted movie tickets for refugees. Please present appropriate proof of residency status. Valid only for regular movie screenings priced up to €11.

4) Non-transferable. Valid for all events up to €11 (excluding school events, the Short Film Breakfast, and the Silent Film Concert). Season tickets are limited to 100. Please have a photo ready when purchasing your season pass in person. If you purchase your season pass online, please come to the counter at the ASTOR with a photo before the start of your first screening. There, you will receive your personalized season pass.

5) The following are eligible for a discount: Braunschweig Pass holders, students, high school students, FSJ participants, and retirees, upon presentation of valid proof

6) Trade visitors from the film industry are eligible for INDUSTRY accreditation upon proof of employment. Registration must be completed by November 1, 2026.

7) All students enrolled in a film school, as well as trainees or students in a film- and media-related field of study, are eligible for discounted INDUSTRY accreditation. Registration must be completed by November 1, 2026. For more information, visit www.filmfest-braunschweig.de.

8) HBK students – Free admission. Tickets are available upon presentation of a student ID starting 3 days before the event. Applies to all events priced at €11 or less (excluding school performances).

9) TU Braunschweig students – Free admission. Tickets are available on the day of the event upon presentation of a student ID.
A limited number of 15 tickets is available the day before the event, subject to availability. Applies to all events priced up to €11 (excluding school performances).

10) We are offering a VIP ticket. The VIP ticket costs €30.00 and includes the following extras:
• Access to the after-show party reception (drinks included)
• An exclusive merchandise bundle featuring a BIFF cloth bag, a BIFF T-shirt, and other goodies
• VIP tickets are limited to 50. The VIP ticket is currently sold out (as of October 1, 2026).
