In 2017 the Idol-Group BNK48 is introduced in Bangkok. Out of 1357 applicants, 30 are selected. However, the group - which will soon only have 26 members left aged between 13 and 23 - is in a permanent process of selection. The management decides for each single anew who is allowed to sing and perform in the video. Singing and dancing talent play only a minor role. The decisive factor is the current social media popularity of each individual. How many followers do they have? How many hearts? The girls and young women are left to their own devices to promote their "individual" image. In the fierce competition for the favour of web users, humanity falls by the wayside.

Director's Biography:Born in Bangkok, Thailand in 1984. Even before he obtained his degree at the Faculty of Arts, Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok, Nawapol had made his first short films. His feature film debut 36 won the New Currents Award of the Busan International Film Festival in 2012.
