Barrie (Johnny Depp) meets the widow Sylvia Llewelyn-Davis (Kate Winslet) and her four sons. Delighted by the boyish pranks of the sons, Barrie finds inspiration for his next theatre play. He creates the fantasy world Neverland which is destined to become the venue of his most recent play ”Peter Pan”. A captivating fantasy-drama for adults and children with superb film music, for which Kaczmarek was awarded the Oscar ”Best Original Music Score” in 2005. The same-named musical has been playing on Broadway since 2014.
