Two DJs against the Islamic regime: techno and Tehran: that is completely incompatible with Iran so that Anoosh and Arash have to hold illegal raves in the desert with their ”Devil`s music”. When they try to make their illegal music public, Anoosh is arrested. They lose hope and are tired of hiding all the time. When Anoosh gets out of prison, the freedom of the street parade in Zurich beckons - a gripping portrait of suppression and escape. This final diploma film from the Zurich University of Arts received the FIRST STEPS Awards 2016 for the best documentary film and in Nyon the Suissimage Jury Prize for the most innovative film.
