A civil war is raging in the Central African Republic. In this environment, Norwegian Linn is responsible for a team from Médecins Sans Frontières that is trying to save lives in a refugee camp. The situation threatens to escalate when a Muslim hides in the hospital and aggressive Christian militias demand his release. Linn has to weigh the safety of her team against the protection of a single person. A gripping thriller based on the experiences of the current head of Médecins Sans Frontières in Norway. Told from the point of view of the helpers, SAFE HOUSE focuses on one of the conflicts in the world and the difference that each individual can make.

Director's Biography:Eirik Svensson (born 1983) completed his studies at the Norwegian Film School. His acclaimed film HARAJUKU received a number of nominations, and SAFE HOUSE won the Audience Dragon Award at the Gothenburg Film Festival.
