Director Radlmaier discovered the town of Sangerhausen by chance, located south-east of the Harz Mountains, between the Europa-Rosarium and the GDR peasant-war panorama, with a view of a pyramid-shaped slag heap from the former mining industry. Radlmaier invites us to Sangerhausen for three days: Ursula, an East German waitress with a broken heart, and Neda, an Iranian YouTuber with a broken arm, are trapped in a precarious life. Three days in which they befriend each other along interwoven paths – like in a fairy tale, comically and poetically. As an alchemy of encounters against the backdrop of a social climate that is moving towards the right, the film brings together people who are pitted against one another in public discourse.
