After many years of absence, Thomas visits the neglected family farm in Provence. Not only his parents live there, it his also the home of his 6-year old nephew and his stunning mother Mona, the wife of Thomas’ brother who has died under mysterious circumstances. Straight away, a silent bond and strong attraction between him and Mona evolves. But it is also a return to the countryside, to his past and to his family. In only 5 days, a lot will happen. Director's Biography:Jessica Palud, born 1982, worked as assistant director with directors such as Bernardo Bertolucci, Sofia Coppola and Philippe Lioret. BACK HOME, her 2nd feature film as director and screenwriter, won the award for best screenplay in Venice 2019.
