"Child prodigy, scandalous author, traitor to the fatherland, feminist, fashion lover, communist, linguistic terrorist, rebel, enfant terrible, nest fouler, brilliant artist." The "musical flow of voices and counter-voices" for which Elfriede Jelinek was awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature in 2004 becomes a visual montage flow that exhibits the work of the probably most controversial exceptional artist like a work of art. Based on the biography of Jelinek, who was born in 1946, the film is on the one hand a contemporary portrait of post-war Austrian history, while at the same time the literary settings become a projection surface for text collages from her works.
