Amal, Omar and their son Ahmad are a happy Arab family. To speak of a "migration background" feels wrong; they were all born here, they are fully integrated, and they have jobs. They are on a first-name basis with their German colleagues and invite each other to dinner. In the playground they meet a man called Franz. The situation spirals out of control when Franz insults and attacks Amal because of her headscarf. Legal proceedings are initiated, but during the hearings an incident occurs that completely changes the family's life. Debut film based on the true story of the death of Marwa el-Sherbini (2009), starring Halima Ilter and Kida Khodr Ramadan.
