Ola is 17 and dreams of getting a car. Freedom at last. Away from her Polish small-town life. Preferably as far away as possible. But one call ruins everything: Her father has died in Ireland where he had worked as a migrant worker to secure the family’s livelihood. Now, the teenager must travel to Ireland in order to repatriate the corpse to Poland. Entirely on her own, Ola must make the necessary arrangements. An in-depth film about the social reality of people who must work as migrants in countries that hardly recognize their presence. And the touching story of a young woman’s dream of a fulfilled life.

Director's Biography:Piotr Domalewski, born 1983 in Poland studied directing in Katowice. He works as director, screenwriter, and actor. His first feature film CICHA NOC (2017) won numerous awards.
